Not much new here. I will weigh in on saturday night and make saturday my weigh in night from then on. Occasionally I feel a strong desire to get a pizza and eat till I am full. Or ribs. I know i can have those thing in moderation but right now i am still in craving a pig out mode so i will avoid. I may try to eat a slice of pizza and thats all if possible. Maybe two. But I am certainly not going to order a pizza any time soon. I am still trying to figure out what i am going to do about food at game time. Normally i would get some junk to much on and then go grab some fast food. That is not a good idea. So I am thinking of taking some carrots as my munchy food and I dont know what i will do for dinner. MAybe take a microwave meal? I dont know.

Pasta Puttanesca:

2 anchovies (don't yuk out, trust me, it's worth it)
1 t extra-virgin olive oil
1 can diced tomatoes, drained
capers
2 cloves garlic
sun-dried tomatoes, diced (optional)
pitted kalmata olives, diced (optional)
parsley (optional)
pasta

Bring water for pasta to a boil. While water is heating, heat olive oil in a large saucepan. Place anchovies in heated oil; watch as anchoices dissolve into something invisible and innofensive. Add garlic, sautee 30 seconds. Add tomatoes. When liquid boils, add olives, sun-dried tomatoes. Add pasta to water. Stir sauce frequently while pasta cooks. When pasta is almost, but not entirely done, drain pasta, saving 1 cup of pasta water. Add hot pasta to sauce. Stir. Add extra pasta water if pasta looks too dry. Serve with chiffondaded parsley.

Getting recipes is always appreciated. Do send more. I am always looking for things i can cook and enjoy on calorie budget. Actually I miss your posting food stuff. Your one of those people who really knows food.

Chances of me making and eating something with anchovies in it are slightly lower than me setting my head on fire to loose weight.

you are hitting the problem stage. I quit smoking by letting myself smoke. I said I would not punish myself if I did smoke, but I would not seek out the situations that made me want to smoke, etc. And so far I am down to about a pack every two or three months, if even that. I still give in to the temptation now and then, but even when I do, it ends up being me looking at the second light and asking myself what the hell am I doing? The second one just starts tasting bad, it isn't healthy, etc.

My biggest problem right now is controlling my drinking. I'm upset at work, money problems, etc, and right now I am taking it out on myself. My family deserves better and I deserve to treat myself better. It has been a hard situation on myself, but my family needs me. I have to keep going for them, and I am a phone call away if you need anything, give or take a twenty hamburger rush.

Both good suggestions. About anything is better then that super-suger stuff. I use to bring fruit and left-over pasta to eat.
