2. I will respond by asking you 5 questions of a very personal nature.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them 5 questions.

Various answers below.

from Adam
1. If you could interview anyone for your gaming podcast, who would you?

Hmm. Well my one time answer is no longer an option as Gygax died not to long ago. Probably someone you don't hear from much. Maybe Mike Pondsmith, Aaron Allston, or Erick Wujcik if I could before he leaves us.

2. What's your least favorite food?

Boiled Spinach

3. What fighting style do you want to be better at?

Two weapon. I decent but there are better and I know it. I could be better.

4. What prompted the series of music posts?

Some people on my friends list had started to post music they liked. I have broad and eclectic tastes as far as music goes so I started doing the same and just kept going.

5. Do you like eggs, and if so, what is your preferred way of having them prepared?

Scrambled with a touch of strongly sharp cheddar and some pepper.

and from Brandes

1. What first drew you to podcasting?

I started listening when someone told me about Leo Leport, from TechTV's Screen Savers was starting one. I was a fan of his from back when they started so I tracked down the website and started listening. I thought it was great fun. I started looking around for others.

I started making my own when I first heard a recording of Edward R Morrow from london during the blitz. IT was brilliant and powerful and it occured to me none does this any more. I started producing Radio Free Eos as an experiment to see what I could do and decided to go with that format. After a while though I let that drift cause I began to realize I wanted to do a more general gaming podcast. Anyway that is sort of how it started. As to what drew me...I guess the Morrow recording demonstrated it to me. There is power in a voice sometimes. Podcasting is amazingly easy to do and it is sharing your voice with the world. There is something beautiful and awesome to me about this notion.

2. All budget concerns aside, suppose that you're planning 6 weeks of travel. Where are you going, and what do you do?

first two weeks in England, Scotland and Ireland, then off with me to the middle east and see ancient things. See the Hagia Sophia in istanbul and the ancient walls of Constantinople. See the pyramids and Jerusalem. The last two weeks would be in china and japan. Spend some time walking places my grandfather walked in china, then hop over to Japan and spend some time there learning my way.

3. Silly Putty: Savior of Humanity, or Destroyer of Existence?

Savior, it does wonders with stress.

4. Again setting aside budgetary concerns, describe your ideal dwelling-place.

I suppose if I had nigh infinite funding then I might go with a castle in the mountains, but that seems like the place I build to spend time with my friends rather than my home. I have my dream home. The place i have had in my dreams for years and years and I suppose that is my home some where. Truth be told as long as it had a quiet area around it, a large space for a library, guest rooms for friends to visit when they choose and hard wood floors then I will be happy. I would say if I don't have to worry about making it in to work then add being in the mountains on that list. The mountains are a part of me like bones.

5. What's your favorite season of the year?

Forever and a day, it shall always be Winter.

And now for Tina

1. What got you into voicework and Podcasts? Were they simultaneous or did one lead to the other?

Well I did podcasting first with Radio Free Eos and then The basics of the Game, however I started getting into voice acting cause well I love old radio plays. I was listening to a podcast novel at the time and enjoyed it. I heard about these Parsec awards which are given for excellence in podcast fiction. They posted the links to different groups who had been nominated for awards. One of the ones nominated was a site called Darker Projects. I did some link diving from there to different places doing audio dramas and I was in love.

Finally I found Pendantaudio.com. They post auditions on their website in an easy to find manner. I listened to their works and found them to be marvelous. Decided to try out for every audition I could. I joined their email list and began the process of auditioning. I have been told many times over the years that I have a good voice so I figured what the hell. To my surprise I got a role. After that it I just submitting auditions and slowly getting know with the group I work with. I have since gone on to be characters on several shows and a couple of different companies.

2. Where was your favorite place (city/town) to live and what made it your favorite place?

Currently I suppose it is Cary as it is a pleasant community that has a number of friends in it. Before that looking back.... Maybe for a time Chattanooga. I went through some hard times there but I made some great friendships too. Also it is close to the mountains and mountains are home to me.

3. If you had $10,000 fall into your lap tomorrow, what would you do with it?

pay off debt.

4. What is your dearest future goal/hope?

A home of my own. I mean a career of course but I think i will have won if I find an actual home of my own.

5. What single thing lifts your spirit faster/more surely than anything else?

real witty humor will do it. I once cured a bout of depression by watching Richard Prior on the Sunset Strip. I defy you to be in a bad mood watching that.

Also helping others tends be an activity in which I cannot be in a bad mood doing.
